Addressing Spiritual Anemia - Doug Hazen
The challenges of cross-cultural ministry are many, and sometimes leave workers so emotionally and spiritually depleted they are in grave danger. This workshop will look not only at typical symptoms of spiritual anemia, but address a holistic spiritual formation and cultivation to assist the worker and their family.
Powerful Prayer = Effective Care (for Missionaries) - Jody Wilson
Jody brings years of experience as well as passion to the topic of praying for our missionaries. Our workers are all across the globe in a variety of situations but one thing remains the same - they cannot do the work of the ministry without the power of the Holy Spirit and prayer warriors on the home front. In this session you will gain some practical tools to help you better intercede for your missionaries.
Red Light/Green Light: Are they ready to go? - Gordon Anderson
Does your agency have a measuring rod of preparedness? What tools are you using to assess preparedness? How do you identify deep-rooted issues that typically surface during cross-cultural stress? We will look at methods and resources which can assist you in better understanding the personal dynamics and needs of each missionary candidate and those of their family.
